Meet your mobile groomer
My name is Ames and I’m the owner of Givin’ the Dog a Bath. I’ve been grooming since 2012 and working with animals since 2002. I started that year working as a vet tech assistant at Near North Animal Hospital to fulfill a job experience requirement for high school. I later volunteered at Paws Chicago, working with dogs and cats helping to socialize and care for them. I began my grooming career at PetSmart in 2012, then worked for Tucker Pups Pet Resort from 2018 to 2022.
In 2022, I began my mobile grooming career at Blooms Grooms. Throughout, I have held the belief that a calm and gentle approach is best, making the grooming experience as stress free and comfortable as possible. I also believe in establishing an open and honest relationship with each of my clients so they know that when they leave their best friends with me, they’re safe and well cared for.
